Nike Sportswear is expanding on the Dad trend while releasing the Nike M2K Tekno in multiple colorways during Fall 2018. Initially seen on John Elliott’s New York FW18 runway, the M2K Tekno stole the show with its unique aesthetic. Following in the footsteps of the “ugly” shoe trend pioneered by brands like Balanciaga, Nike has fully embraced this season’s biggest look.
Here we take a closer look at the Nike M2K Tekno Black Volt.
Arriving in a sleek monochrome colourway, the M2K Tekno’s black and white design is contrasted perfectly with vibrant green accents across the heel and mini Swoosh. A wavy design creates a one-of-a-kind effect across the Nike M2K Tekno Black Volt’s clean white midsole. Intricate leather overlays complement the M2K Tekno’s abstract aesthetic. In a unique twist, the Nike M2K Tekno features two Swooshes, which appear across the side panel.
